4. February - July 2014
1. Lucy all ready for kindy - just like her big sister Olivia. She actually dressed herself (picked the clothes and the other kids helped her get dressed) in Olivias skirt and t-shirt, got Olivias kindy bag and hat and came to tell me she was ready to go.
2 & 3. Took the kids to the science centre in the last school holidays (july). This is Annabelle having fun learning about mirrors. And all four of them out the front just before we were ready to head home. Olivia, Annabelle, Matilda and Lucy down and out in the pram.
4. Our little performer (Matilda) all dressed and ready to go in her jazz gear. She absolutely loves the jazz classes and has even started practicing around the house.
3. February - July 2014
1. Annabelle, Olivia, Me, Lucy and Matilda out for brekkie on mothers day.
2. face painting at Olivias kindy fun day. I actually did the face painting on the day..... dont know that I will make millions from my efforts but all the kids seemed happy enough.
3. I love this photo. Olivia leading Lucy on a walk we went on after a train ride. She is such a great big sister - especially when it is just the three of us at home (when the others are at school). Olivia really looks out for Lucy and tries to help me all the time.
4. Lucy enjoying the climbing equipment. I think she is about 20 months old at this point. She has extremely good balance and is very very determined when a climbing challenge is put in front of her.
5. Lucy enjoying her icecream!
6. And on her first bike ride with her new 'hat'
7. And, well, everyone else reads before bedtime, so only natural that Lucy does too. She often falls asleep like this. It really brings home how much they mimic and learn from those around them.
8. Bathtime shennanigans. Matilda was singing and passing the microphone around. Since she has started jazz dancing her confidence to do things like this seems to have grown. She had us all in giggles, and the kids were all up and dancing to her singing. Very fun night.
Also, Lucys language has just taken off. She is starting to string 3-4 words together and can almost always get her message across. Some of her favourite things to say.....
'hey you, go way'
'undies'
mono (motorbike)
no mummy, no mummy, no mummy (getting more desperate as she goes - almost like I am about to do something horrible. Most of the time I am just picking her up, or something very non threatening).
2. February - July 2014
From the top:
1. Lucy and I enjoying some time at home by ourselves in the hammock. This was taking approx March, so she would have been about 18 months old.
2. Visiting Grandma and Grandpa in April school holidays. Lucy did not like the idea of riding a horse!
3. Matilda, on the other hand.... couldnt keep the smile off her face.
4. Lucy trying on Grandmas boots for size.
5. Back in Brissie, Olivia working on some Easter craft.
6 & 7 - Easter hunt!! and find! We knew we were in trouble when Lucy hooked into her big bunny at 7am. Sure enough it was a rather painful night!
8. Lucy, Matilda, Annabelle, Olivia - four beautiful girls having fun in the hammock.
9. Lucy hanging out with the big kids at a caravan park. Everyone else was drawing with chalk on the ground, so only natural that she joined in
10. Matilda running for the finish line at her school cross country day

2014 - February to July. Cranky days at our house
Seems we had a run of cranky days at our house as these photos were all taken close together.
Unfortunately I can't remember what triggered each face.
Top one is Matilda, in the middle is Olivia & the bottom one is Annabelle.
