5, 6, 7 & 8 - Matilda and Annabelle getting dressed up for book week at school. Matilda is dressed up as one of the 101 Dalmations and won the class prize for her outfit. Annabelle was dressed up as Ariel, the Little Mermaid.  #8 is Matilda pretending to be a puppy

Hard to believe how quickly the big two are growing up but seeing this writing really makes me realise it.  I think the teachers helped, but still I was pretty proud of their writing.  Matilda's is up the top (this is a red rose. It is in a vase), Annabelles second (Smiley went to the beach. The icecream melted in the sun (I think)).

My little helper in the next three.  I was washing the playdoh toys and had the bucket full of them.  I would reach in and scrub one and then put it on the lawn.  Lucy was imitating me so well - reaching into the bucket and flinging each cutter as far as she could.  She loved fishing them out of the bucket.  She was so close to going in head first too - very cute.

9. This one was also taken while camping - they were just leaning on each other and I thought it was such a gorgeous moment.  Matilda is in the jumper

11.  I took this from the outside of the school gates..... Ive been made redundant!!! - no longer needed at school drop off.  The girls told me the other day that they are now big enough to go in by themselves, and off they went - Annabelle even forgot her goodbye kiss!  Felt a little bit sad and a big bit proud at this moment.

May 2013 #2

3, 4, 5 & and 6 - a series of Lucy. I love these shots. She was 'yayayayaya' ing at the pegs at the top of her lungs - concentrating so hard and giving them the biggest telling off.  Then I called out to her and she gave me the biggest smiles, thinking she was so clever

8.  Lucy's latest trick now that she has mastered crawling (yep, crawling and getting quicker by the day).  I just wish she wouldnt practice all her new tricks in the bath!!

May 2013

1.  Family dinner!  Even Lucy is eating at the table these days
2. Lucy in her new high chair.  Took her a day or two to get used to it but now she loves it.
3. Three gorgeous girls at the beach at Forster.  It was rather cold but they had a ball.
4.  Annabelle the little hairdresser.  Dad the subject.  Very funny when he went to the public camping toilets like this!
5. Mothers Day morning.  Matilda on the left, Annabelle in the middle, Olivia on the right.  It was a lovely morning, the girls had made lots of things at school and a bunch of tissue paper flowers (cos they last forever) the day before with Damian and Olivia.
6 & 7. Lucy on the move.  And very cheeky and excited about it.  She was so determined to get to the stairs the other day.  And the next photo - she was so proud of getting across the threshold and into the girls room.  Its like a whole new world to play in.
8.  I am getting better at hair!! This is Olivias one day.

And the fashion thing starts already......

This is Annabelle in her 'skinny jeans' which she begged me for.  Sigh.  I cant believe it has started already!! (oh, and love the purple slippers to match)

Camping on our first school holidays

We took the kids and our new camper trailer on our first trip these school holidays.  The camp grounds are about 1.5 hours out of Brisbane on the way to Warwick.

1 & 2  This was what we woke up to the first morning - horses around the campsite and as soon as they saw Annabelle eating a nectarine they were quick to pay us a visit.

4.  These are for my mum - really cool mushrooms that we found on one of our morning explorations (I thought she might like to paint them)

7.  Took a drive up to the top of one of the hills on the property and this was the view.  It is actually really really high up - the picture doesnt really do it justice.  The kids a log that was lots of fun to play on.
