Giggles

Giggles!!! These are the best giggles I can get from Olivia. She laughs even harder when Matilda or Annabelle do something funny - sometimes I cant even work out what they are doing that makes her laugh so hard. Ahhh, the beauty of sisters!

Sleeping

Two cute photos - both taken last week.
Annabelle snuggled up to her 'baby' whose name is 'baby'. We decided on a new rule in the house which was no toys in the bedroom at bedtime - we used to go in to find so many toys on the bed that the kids were nearly falling out. So now, they are allowed to take their babies only. (The crocodile and teddy bear in the next photo live on their beds.
The second photo - Matilda must have fallen out of bed and found herself closer to Annabelles bed so just decided to climb up beside her.

Eating solids...... and my toes

From the top:
1. Olivia has really discovered her hands and feet this last week. Mostly, she spends her time putting her toes in her mouth and thinking she is very very clever. She is also banging toys on the ground and shaking them with her hands (and knocking herself in the head every now and then).
2. Funny hair do. It makes Olivia look so much older. Had a family member comment on her hair after the photos - yes, it sits down now. It is still very fluffy, but has enough length to sit flat.
3. First taste of solid (rice cereal) this week (18th Jan) at about 4 1/2 months. Day two and she was grabbing for the spoon. I find it very hard to open a packet of anything without her trying to get her little fingers (those ones she has just discovered this week) into it. And if Matilda or Annabelle go anywhere near her with food she is very quick to try and pinch it for herself!
4. This is a terrible photo - had the camera settings wrong - but I still thought I would put it up as it was the first time we took the rubber ducky with the boat, and the first time the kids had their life jackets on. They thought the little wobbly boat was just as good as the big wobbly boat. We had a great day out at Peel Island (30 mins from Manly), jumping off the back of the boat and swimming at the beach.

January 2010

From the top:
1. A very cute (I think), and rather cheeky smile from Olivia. She is slowly mastering the art of rolling over and now isnt too bothered about being on her tummy. She thought she was very clever being up on the pillow and being able to see the other girls playing.
2. Matilda and Olivia
3. Matilda, Olivia and Annabelle - I took them on a train ride for the first time this week. They were a bit unsure on the way to the destination, but coming home provided lots of giggles - the girls observed keenly and passed comment on several other travellers on the train. Provided for a few embarrassing moments, like the teenager who walked passed........ Annabelle says 'someone is a bit smelly mummy'.
4. Annabelle dressing up as a princess. And loving posing for the camera.
