"Gardening"

This day made me laugh so much. I had left the girls down stairs as they wouldnt follow me up and I came down to find them proudly saying 'gardening Mummy, gardening'. It's Matilda in the green t-shirt and Annabelle in the pink one.

Me and More sleeping pics

This is me at 36 weeks. People are now asking me if I am having twins. Sigh. Now, when i am writing this, there are only about 2-3 weeks to go, so I guess I can put up with peoples comments for that much longer. Feeling pretty good, although much more tired this time round. And this little baby seems so much more active, not sure if that is because there is more room in there this time or if I have just forgotten how much the girls moved.
The next two photos down are just amusing ways the kids are able to go to sleep in. Matilda is on the floor on one of her toys and Annabelle, well, not sure if she fell asleep this way, or if she fell out of bed and couldnt get back in properly and gave up half way. If only I could fall asleep this easily!!

Big Girls Cups and Sleeping

Everything lately is about 'big girl' things. The latest is drinking from cups that dont have lids. Its a very nerve racking experience from my point of view - trying to juggle two girls eagerly grabbing and tipping cups! But in truth they are very good with them - once I learned not to fill the cup up too much it's been much more successful.
So, the top photo is of Matilda, and the second one is of Annabelle.
The next two photos..... I put the girls into bed with exactly the same things - one book, one teddy bear, the ruggie and one bunny rabbit (the green thing). And as you can see, we have one good baby (Matilda) and......... one not so good baby (Annabelle), who has obivously been in and out of bed several times, and the last time getting back in was just too hard so she fell asleep on her feet! To be fair, they seem to take it in turns of going to sleep quickly and needing to get in and out of bed, its not always one being a bit cheeky.

'Jumping'

Here are the kids, obviously really ready for bedtime. Annabelle is on the left (in Matilda's bed), Matilda on the right. I cant even remember why they were so hyped up, but the words they are saying are 'jumping, jumping, jumping'. Then Annabelle is saying 'blankets up' over and over and Matilda says 'lie down'. The video makes me confident in saying that they love their new 'big girl' beds!

Playdoh's

Spent a really lovely hour or so playing 'playdohs' with the girls this week. Up until now their concentration span hasnt been really long enough to actually sit and enjoy the activity. But it was lots of fun this time around.
From the top:
1. Matilda
2. Annabelle
3. Matilda
4. Annabelle 'showing me what she had made'. I was rolling little balls of playdoh and they were putting them into a cookie cutter, making a 'ball cake'. Annabelle was very proud of what she had done.
5. As was Matilda. She was very happy with being able to put both cutters onto the one cake.
