Four months (nearly)

From the top....
1. Matilda (left) and Annabelle (right) playing on the mat. Both have discovered their own and each others hands.
2. First family holiday! Had two nights on the Gold Coast just to get away for a bit. As you can see, the weather wasnt great so we didnt even go swimming, but did go down to the beach a couple of times. Damian is holding Annabelle, me Matilda.

4. Annabelle in the foreground. The bottles have water in them, which they say they dont have to have but the girls like to chew on the teats and I think it must feel good on their gums or something as they love it. And I thought the photo was cute.

Annabelle and Matilda will be four months old on Wednesday which is very very hard to believe. They are just starting to giggle and have definitely found their voices chatting all the time and singing along when I sing to them. Hand / eye coordination is also developing with them reaching for things and pulling them towards their mouths. Fun to watch the development.

5. Matilda escaping her wrap. I wrap them like this to sleep otherwise they wave their arms around and wake themselves/each other up. But.... ever stubborn they both spend half the night trying to escape. It would appear that Matilda has been successful this time!

All going well. Matilda did her first giggle this week, but I havent been able to make her do many more. They are chatting more and more and I woke up last night at 3.30am to what sounded like a little party - both girls chatting away as if it was play time. Had their first swimming lesson today and both girls had a great time going under the water several times without tears.
