14 weeks

From the top:
1. Annabelle - thumbsucker??? not sure yet if this is just discovery of her hands or if she is going to suck her thumb

Very hard to believe that they are now 14 weeks old! Has been a bit of a trying week with the girls changing their feeding routine a bit. But seem to be getting the hang of it again (is now Friday). Checked their weights on Wednesday - Annabelle 5.6 kg and Matilda 5.4kg so no worries about if they are getting enough food! And they have started to 'talk' to each other which is very fun and amusing to watch.

13 weeks

From the top....

Also, found out today that the girls are identical. Had their DNA tested and the results came back today. Very exciting to know, and yes, we can still tell them apart.

They are really growing up quickly. Lots of smiles. Hitting and kicking toys and discovering that some toys make noises when you hit them. Both girls stare at each other and Matilda is especially fascinated by Annabelle. When I put them on the mat Matilda will spend ages just staring across at Annabelle and both reach out and touch each other.

Both girls have started reaching out and grabbing stuff and hitting it - Annabelle especially. The doll and the frog (in the last photo) are two of the favourite toys at the moment. They have also started holding hands which is very very cute!

Christmas

Hi All,

We had a great Christmas - first one as a family! The girls were really good, just another day for them at this stage really. Photos are from the top:
