Hi All,

Sorry, its been a few weeks, but here are some more photos. From the top....
1. Matilda at about 7 weeks. First smiles on camera

5. Went to a BBQ at Kangaroo Point in Brisbane (on the 16th Dec)- both girls admiring the view! Matilda is in the more pink dress (closer to the screen)

6 weeks

Bottom photo - me in the middle of feeding the girls. I think its Matilda on the left. I really should start writing down who is where when I take the photos!!! Luckily I can tell them apart in real life.

Going well, had a very full on couple of days with very hungry girls wanting to eat every 2 hours or so and not feeling like sleep in between was so important - bit tricky to juggle two babies! But they are both very healthy and have started smiling which is lovely.

3 weeks old

Not sure exactly when all the photos were taken, but the girls are three weeks old today (9th November). From the top:
1. Matlida on the left in blue, Annabelle in green. They often sleep touching each other, I just missed the photo where Annabelle actually had her hand smack in the middle of Matlida's face.
2. Oscar being very good and protecting Annabelle for me
3. Me on the couch with Matilda
4. and me multitasking - rocking Annabelle in the rocker and Matilda in my arms. Spend many hours like this!

All going well, had the girls weighed yesterday and both have put on approx 650grams since leaving hospital (thats a very rough figure), which is very healthy. All their reflexes and other milestones were good too. On the whole getting decent sleep at night and then when the girls get up at 6ish they like to stay awake for most of the morning which is a bit tiring as they like to play tag team to be nursed but at least it doesnt happen at 2am!!!

Pretty in Pink

Bathtime

Still so tiny!! I think this is Matilda - hard to tell from this angle. Both girls really love their bath time.

Our first little outing

We only went down to the dogpark to give the dog a run, but it was an outing all the same! Nice to be at home and able to get out if I want to. Annabelle and Matilda have settled in really well - doing lots of sleeping and eating and looking gorgeous.

38 weeks

Looking a little tired in some of these, but still feeling good on the whole - just depends how much sleep I get at night. Im a bit of a novelty around the neighbourhood as I am still walking the dog - all the locals know me now. I get people stopping me and saying 'you cant have much longer to go????'. Hope everyone is well, and we will no doubt be in touch very shortly.

37 Weeks

The 'Nursery"

Yep, this is the whole nursery. All ready now though! Just need the kids.

Nearly 36 Weeks

And this is me trying to look a little sporty. Ive been going to a 'mum-to-be physio' excercise class once a week. So for the first time ever have been going to a gym type environment and had to buy some semi sporty pants. Funnily enough they are one of the most comfortable pieces of clothing I own at the moment. And I thought I would put a close up on the tummy on. Looks rather big!!!

The cot.....

And, just showing my fantastic organisation skills. This is what the cot looks like at the moment....... it had a big dint in it so we had to send it back - still waiting on the replacement. Hopefully the bubs wont be here too soon! But it gives a bit of an idea of what it is going to look like.

The new BBQ!!!

We finally got around to actually buying (after looking at numerous) the new BBQ which was something lots of our wedding guests contributed to. Thanks!!

Nappy Cake.......

Sally organised me a beautiful baby shower. Had a really lovely afternoon catching up with some of the people I used to work with and some friends from Brisbane. And, how cool - Sal made me a cake out of nappies! Just what I need!!

34 Weeks

No suprises that everyone I meet asks 'when are you due, cant be much longer?'. I have never seen so many faces of obvious disbelief when I say 'hopefully another 4 weeks' until I follow it up with 'but I am carrying twins'. Im still feeling pretty good, had a bit of swelling in my hands and feet but nothing to be concerned about. Am loving being at home now and not having to get up each day for work. I have even had some nanna naps!!!

A good laugh

These photos were only taken a couple of days after the last ones I posted, but I just wanted to show how much impact clothing can have (and give you all a good giggle). Its no wonder that everyone at work has been asking when I finish up - from about 6 weeks ago!! Funny thing is, the uniform is actually really really comfy.

29 weeks and still growing

Only two weeks left of work and starting to count down. Still feel really well but am starting to get tired and am now looking forward to the sleep ins (ok, I know, they will only last a very short while). I think Ive put on about 9kgs so I guess thats contibuting to the tiredness a bit too.

House Progress

And here is where we are up to with the house...... not looking hopeful to be finished by October!! The first photo is from the back doors looking through to the front windows. The second photo is back the other way. The plan is for Damian to do the electricals and plumbing and framework for the built in cupboards over the next few weekends. Then we will get plasters in to put the walls back up.

27 weeks!!

I really dont feel as big as I look and its funny even for me to be looking at these photos and realising just how much I have grown. I will be 27 weeks pregnant on Friday 3rd August. Went for another ultrasound last week and both babies are growing well. Number 1 = 970g (apparently a VERY good size) and Number 2 = 880g, on the smaller side but still very healthy. Visited Tom in Perth over the weekend and had a lovely time relaxing. This is where the photos are taken - whilst we were on a drive through the Swan Valley.

22 weeks and growing fast!!

Hi All,

Yes, believe it or not I am only 22 weeks pregnant. People at work have been asking how long until I go on maternity leave - implying I should be going soon. Im still feeling really good, walking lots and not too tired yet. The babies are kicking lots and lots which is still an unreal sensation and people on the outside can feel them too.

And here are the first pictures of our babies!!! Twin one, then twin two and then both together. It was the most amazing experience ever to see them both moving around and flexing fingers etc

19 Weeks

Here are some photos of me at 19 weeks. The one outdoors was taken when we went on a picnic with really good friends (who also have twins). The two taken indoors are of me in my first materniy outfit - much more comfortable than my exsiting clothes!!
