4. February - July 2014
1. Lucy all ready for kindy - just like her big sister Olivia. She actually dressed herself (picked the clothes and the other kids helped her get dressed) in Olivias skirt and t-shirt, got Olivias kindy bag and hat and came to tell me she was ready to go.
2 & 3. Took the kids to the science centre in the last school holidays (july). This is Annabelle having fun learning about mirrors. And all four of them out the front just before we were ready to head home. Olivia, Annabelle, Matilda and Lucy down and out in the pram.
4. Our little performer (Matilda) all dressed and ready to go in her jazz gear. She absolutely loves the jazz classes and has even started practicing around the house.
3. February - July 2014
1. Annabelle, Olivia, Me, Lucy and Matilda out for brekkie on mothers day.
2. face painting at Olivias kindy fun day. I actually did the face painting on the day..... dont know that I will make millions from my efforts but all the kids seemed happy enough.
3. I love this photo. Olivia leading Lucy on a walk we went on after a train ride. She is such a great big sister - especially when it is just the three of us at home (when the others are at school). Olivia really looks out for Lucy and tries to help me all the time.
4. Lucy enjoying the climbing equipment. I think she is about 20 months old at this point. She has extremely good balance and is very very determined when a climbing challenge is put in front of her.
5. Lucy enjoying her icecream!
6. And on her first bike ride with her new 'hat'
7. And, well, everyone else reads before bedtime, so only natural that Lucy does too. She often falls asleep like this. It really brings home how much they mimic and learn from those around them.
8. Bathtime shennanigans. Matilda was singing and passing the microphone around. Since she has started jazz dancing her confidence to do things like this seems to have grown. She had us all in giggles, and the kids were all up and dancing to her singing. Very fun night.
Also, Lucys language has just taken off. She is starting to string 3-4 words together and can almost always get her message across. Some of her favourite things to say.....
'hey you, go way'
'undies'
mono (motorbike)
no mummy, no mummy, no mummy (getting more desperate as she goes - almost like I am about to do something horrible. Most of the time I am just picking her up, or something very non threatening).
2. February - July 2014
From the top:
1. Lucy and I enjoying some time at home by ourselves in the hammock. This was taking approx March, so she would have been about 18 months old.
2. Visiting Grandma and Grandpa in April school holidays. Lucy did not like the idea of riding a horse!
3. Matilda, on the other hand.... couldnt keep the smile off her face.
4. Lucy trying on Grandmas boots for size.
5. Back in Brissie, Olivia working on some Easter craft.
6 & 7 - Easter hunt!! and find! We knew we were in trouble when Lucy hooked into her big bunny at 7am. Sure enough it was a rather painful night!
8. Lucy, Matilda, Annabelle, Olivia - four beautiful girls having fun in the hammock.
9. Lucy hanging out with the big kids at a caravan park. Everyone else was drawing with chalk on the ground, so only natural that she joined in
10. Matilda running for the finish line at her school cross country day

2014 - February to July. Cranky days at our house
Seems we had a run of cranky days at our house as these photos were all taken close together.
Unfortunately I can't remember what triggered each face.
Top one is Matilda, in the middle is Olivia & the bottom one is Annabelle.

still catching up......
Again, these are oldest at the top, most recent at the bottom.
1. Lucy being very cheeky and standing up on the swing. She has been the biggest climber of the lot.
2. Annabelle posing for a photo we needed for a school thing. I think this was taken in Oct/Nov 2013 when she was 6
3. Matilda doing the same thing.
4. Damian's 40th birthday cake. Lots of fun to make and eat!
5. Matilda got glasses this year. They are really gorgeous.
6. Lucy looking really cool.
7. My birthday
8. Lucy at a friends house one day. She was really into hats at this stage and has one of the big girls hats on.
9. The kids having an absolute ball at a park one day with some of their school friends.
10, 11, 12 & 13. All Christmas photos. The first one is Olivia drawing on the front path, directing Santa where to go. The second one is of all four kids writing to Santa. Next is the night before Christmas and the following one is Christmas morning.
14. One of their Santa pressies. Matilda in the black spots, Olivia in pink and Annabelle in blue.
15. Matilda after having her teeth fixed (again). She was still pretty groggy at this stage.
16. Lucy loving her sushi (well, she loves food in general, but I like this one)
17. Lucy and Olivia playing the keyboard they were given for Christmas. I think we have heard the demo about 500 times!
18. Someone, Olivia, just a little excited about going to kindy! She was all dressed and ready to go ...... a week before her first day. This one was taken mid January
19. This one was actually taken in October while we were camping. The kids all sleep on a queen mattress and this was how I found them when we went to bed. Too cute!
5 months of catching up....
Very hard to believe it has been about 5 months since I put photos up.
The way these ones run, the oldest ones are at the top of the post.
1. Olivia at her Physie concert - obviously she was very excited.
2. Olivias 4th birthday
3. Annabelle reading to Olivia - one of those lovely quiet moments
4. Matilda (foreground) and Annabelle at their swimming lesson. Swimming has been a massive focus of ours for the last year (kids wouldnt put their faces in the water about 12 months ago) and it makes me so proud to see them loving their swimming lessons and progressing each week.
5. Craft afternoon..... Olivia, Matilda in the middle and then Annabelle. Their crowns were 'Princesses of something' , eg flowers, just that I did the activity so long ago and now I cant remember who was what.
6. Lucy walking. This was taken before she was one, she was well and truly walking before 1. I think she was near running at 1. And very proud of herself.
7. Lucy is a very early riser, so I have taken to walking the dog (with Lucy in the pram) as soon as she wakes us up. This one was an extra early morning. I have seen some gorgeous sunrises over the last few months!
8. Lucy's first birthday
9. Just a nice pic of Lucy
10 & 11. The great Cake off! Matilda asked for a trampoline, which I did. Annabelle for Minnie mouse, which Damian did. He won this year. (and Olivia had a 'pinata cake', but I missed the photos on the day).
12. Another craft day
13. Learning how to play elastics. Takes me back to my school days!
14. Little Lucy looking gorgeous.
